Sellers PL: Oct 5–11

Allegro is overhauling buyer-contact channels (Message Center, AI Assistant) and setting a hard deadline of October 28 for API integrators. Otherwise — an unusually quiet week: zero new items from Amazon.pl, Empik, Kaufland, couriers, or most regulators. The one signal from abroad: a French law restricting ultra-fast fashion. This newsletter is Phase 0 material — an internal test of this niche, not yet validated with any real seller.

Three takeaways

01

Allegro is moving buyer communication to a new track — with a hard deadline for integrators

From October 28, the new "Purchase problems" ticket type will run exclusively through the new beta.v1 version of the /messaging endpoint — the old Discussions (/sale/issues) stay in place, but with no migration plan. Anyone with their own API integration for handling complaints has to be ready by that date. In parallel, from October 27 buyers will be able to edit product reviews multiple times.

02

An unusually quiet week outside Allegro — and that's a real finding, not a collection gap

Three agents searched Amazon.pl, Empik Marketplace, Kaufland Global Marketplace, Google Merchant Center, DPD, InPost, GLS, DHL and Pocztex, plus UOKiK, UODO and e-Izba — nothing from this window met the bar (real URL + date inside the window + direct relevance to e-commerce selling). The only foreign signal: a French ultra-fast-fashion law, relevant only to clothing/textile sellers shipping to France.

03

This is Phase 0's third trial run — some sources still fail outright or give only a single confirmation

Allegro's notice about a contact-channel change and Allegro Finance's capital increase found no independent confirmation anywhere — a search of Poland's KRS business registry didn't even turn up a separate entity by that name. That's not a falsehood, just a real verification gap — exactly the kind Phase 0 is meant to catch before talking to real sellers.

What's changing: deadlines

The only part of this issue worth a calendar entry.

WhenWhatWho it affects
Oct 27, 2026 Allegro: product reviews can be edited multiple times (previously once) within the same 360-day window; the buyer-facing AI Assistant launches in Help. All sellers — more review edits over a longer window.
Oct 28, 2026 Allegro: new "Purchase problems" ticket type only via the new /messaging endpoint (beta.v1); for most sellers it lands as threads in the Message Center (an exception for Allegro Lokalnie/Allegro Magazyn is claimed but not independently confirmed). Sellers with their own API integration for messages/complaints.
Dec 10, 2026 Allegro Finance: privacy policy change (expanded data-recipient section, alignment with Chinese law). Sellers using Allegro Finance's financial services.
Jan 1, 2027 France: ban on advertising/promoting "ultra-fast fashion" by influencers, fines up to €100,000 (Law No. 2026-602). Clothing/textile sellers shipping to France or with French customers.

Allegro — changes for sellers

Oct 5Allegro API

Orders — attaching invoices simplified to one request

A new endpoint, POST /order/{orderId}/billing-documents/files, lets sellers attach an invoice to an order in a single request (multipart: PDF file + invoice number), replacing the two-step POST .../invoices + PUT .../invoices/{invoiceId}/file flow, which is now marked deprecated. No removal date has been given yet for the old endpoints.

why it mattersSellers with their own ERP integrations for issuing invoices should move to the new endpoint before the old one is retired.

Message Center — 3 weeks to adapt to the new /messaging version

From October 28, 2026, business-account sellers will see a new "Purchase problems" communication type, handled exclusively by the new /messaging version (header Accept: application/vnd.allegro.beta.v1+json). The existing Discussions (/sale/issues) keep working, but Allegro "has no plan to migrate" them.

why it mattersSellers with their own API integration for messages/complaints must ship the new /messaging version by October 28, or new tickets won't be handled.

October and December changes for buyers — seller impact

From Oct 27, 2026, product reviews can be changed multiple times (previously once) within the same 360-day window; the buyer-facing AI Assistant in Help also launches that day. From Oct 28, 2026, "purchase problem" tickets will reach most sellers as Message Center threads instead of Discussions. From Dec 10, 2026, Allegro Finance's privacy policy changes.

why it mattersMore product-review edits over a longer window, plus a shift of complaint handling to the Message Center from October 28.

Contact-channel change for Allegro Finance framework agreements

Per Allegro's own notice, the contact@allegrofinance.pl email address has been replaced by a contact form in Allegro Help (for terminating a framework agreement or withdrawing consents), and Allegro Finance sp. z o.o.'s share capital rose from 2,750,000 zł to 5,750,000 zł. This could not be confirmed independently — a search of Poland's KRS business registry found no separate entity named "Allegro Finance sp. z o.o." (only Allegro sp. z o.o. and Allegro Pay sp. z o.o. turned up, with different registry numbers and capital), and trade press has not covered this change.

why it mattersIf confirmed, sellers using Allegro Finance's services should know contact now runs only through the form, not email — but for now this is a single, unverified source.

not independently confirmed — single source, entity not found in the KRS registry allegro.pl/pomoc

Regulation and foreign markets

the week's only regulatory signal

France restricts ultra-fast fashion — EPR fees and an influencer-advertising ban

French Law No. 2026-602 (adopted July 8, mostly in force from July 10, 2026) introduced tiered EPR fees for "ultra-fast fashion" of €0.25–12 per item from September 1, 2026 (rising to roughly €2–20 from 2030), and from January 1, 2027 bans advertising and promotion of such products by influencers, with fines up to €100,000. Sellers must also disclose country of manufacture next to the price and display messaging encouraging moderate consumption.

why it mattersRelevant to Polish clothing/textile sellers shipping to France or with French customers — worth checking whether the assortment falls under the "ultra-fast fashion" definition (details to be set by an implementing decree).

What's not in this issue

Empty spots are a result too

  • Other platforms and couriers — total silence this window: checked directly: Amazon.pl (Seller Central blocks bots, as expected), Empik Marketplace (help page doesn't load content), Kaufland Global Marketplace (JS-rendered newsroom, no results for a plain fetch), Google Merchant Center Announcements (latest Poland-specific entry is July 1, outside the window), DPD, InPost, GLS, DHL and Pocztex (latest notices from late September, outside the window). No pricing, terms, or commission change in the Oct 5–11 window was confirmed.
  • UOKiK — checked and excluded as unrelated to e-commerce/marketplaces: charges against Google (Oct 5, dispute over press content), a chainsaw inspection sweep (Oct 9, sales channel unconfirmed), a fine for "Nasz Prąd" (Oct 7, energy sector).
  • UODO — checked and excluded: a fine for "Costalea" (Oct 5) — not confirmed to be an e-commerce company; a general notice on breach reporting (Oct 5) — guidance, not a decision against a specific company.
  • e-Izba — legislative notices: the latest confirmed notices of this type are from August 2026; in the Oct 5–11 window only opinion pieces appeared (digital product passport, cybersecurity) with no specific new obligations or deadlines — they didn't qualify as legislative notices.
  • GPSR/BDO/PPWR: no new enforcement news in this window — these regulations took effect earlier in 2026 (GPSR January 3, PPWR August 12) and generated no new events this week.
  • Allegro — dev changes dated outside the window: "Seller ratings — new public.v1 structure" (announced Oct 2, effective Nov 2) and "Shipped by Allegro — removal of tracking numbers" (announced Oct 1, effective Oct 29) — both dates fall outside Oct 5–11, so they didn't make this issue.

How this was collected

Three collector agents worked in parallel on non-overlapping clusters: Allegro (official changes), regulation and enforcement (GPSR/BDO/PPWR, UOKiK, UODO, e-Izba), and other platforms and couriers. Each was given the same rules: window October 5–11, 2026, a real URL and a specific date required for every item, a confidence label, and no filling in gaps from the model's own memory. A fourth agent cross-validated 5 key claims against sources independent of the ones originally cited.

Anything that couldn't be confirmed was either flagged or described with a caveat — as with the Allegro Finance item above. The exclusion lists under "What's not in this issue" aren't decoration — they're what separates this document from a dump of search results.

This is the third test issue of the marketplace/e-commerce sellers in Poland niche for GateKeeper (Phase 0). No real seller has seen this digest yet — every issue exists purely for internal evaluation of format and sources, before the niche is validated or rejected.
